Thanks Mike. Some sweeping generalisations there - 'God however, has no use for purpose' - How can you possibly know that? AND 'the First Cause of the universe was Causeless' - not necessarily if entropy is endlessly reversed and kicked off again as many now believe. And when you talk about God and Jesus is that still in reference to Berkley - I'm unsure whether that's your own perspective. There is of course no knowledge any of us can trust. The accuracy of Empiricism depends on the efficiency of the brain and individually we have no yardstick to measure it. We have to trust it. Personal experience suggests to me that mystagogues are more hands on perhaps than you give them credit for assuming they exist and we are not self-delusional but how can we tell when we're self-delusional!!
I'll leave that one with you.
